An Outdoor Mud Kitchen With a Working Sink
The Avenlur Woodland is a wooden mud kitchen for kids that turns a patio, garden or corner of the yard into a backyard restaurant. A working sink with a manual pump faucet lets kids pump real water to mix mud pies, wash toy dishes and make potions. A chalkboard holds the day's menu, and shelves and hooks keep pots and utensils within reach.
What's on the Woodland
Working sink and pump faucet: Kids pump real water for authentic messy play.
Chalkboard: For menus, recipes, doodles and garden plans.
Shelves and hooks: Storage for pots, pans and utensils.
Kid-height counter: 15.8 inches high, so little chefs can reach everything.
Why Kids Love a Mud Kitchen
Mud, water, sand and leaves are some of the best sensory materials there are. A mud kitchen gives kids a dedicated place to mix, pour, scoop and pretend, building fine motor skills, early math and imaginative play while keeping the mess outside. It's a Montessori favorite for a reason: kids lead, and real materials do the teaching.
Compact Enough for Any Yard
At 31.9 inches wide and 14.8 inches deep, the Woodland fits on a small patio, a balcony or a garden path. Its natural wood design looks good outdoors. Want a bigger setup with a market stand and grill? See the Sumac mud kitchen.
