Indoor Playground Equipment for Home, School or Therapy Space

The Avenlur Sweetgum Jumbo is our largest 8-in-1 indoor playground, built for movement, balance and gross motor development. With eight activities in one wooden structure and room for several children at once, it's made for large playrooms and basements, as well as preschools, sensory gyms and pediatric therapy spaces. Kids ages 3 to 9 get a real climbing challenge without leaving the house.

Eight Ways to Play

  • Rock climbing wall: Colorful holds for a steep climb.

  • Rope wall: A net climb that builds balance.

  • Monkey bars and climbing rings: Hanging and swinging for grip and core strength.

  • Ladder: A steady route up for younger kids.

  • Slide: A 66.8 inch slide back down.

  • Swing: Indoor swinging all year.

  • Top platform: A 30.1 inch perch for pretend play.

Built for Movement and Group Play

Climbing, hanging and swinging build coordination, balance, body awareness and core strength. The Jumbo is spacious enough for several children, so it works for siblings, playdates and guided group sessions. Its natural wood finish and rounded edges fit homes and professional spaces alike.

Size

The Sweetgum Jumbo measures 90.6 x 88.2 x 70.9 inches. It supports up to 110 pounds per child and 250 pounds in total. Need something smaller? Compare sizes on the Sweetgum page.

Make It a Hideaway

Sweetgum Indoor Sensory Playset

Customer photo review of Sweetgum Indoor Sensory Playset (X-Large)

We bought this for our 4-year-old daughter and it has quickly become one of her favorite things in the house. She uses it every single day. The climbing, swinging, and ramp give her so many ways to play and burn off energy, especially on days we are stuck indoors. The structure feels extremely solid and well-made. The wood is smooth, sturdy, and feels very safe for a young child. I even tested it myself. I am 5'4" and 155 lbs, and it held me without any issues, wobbling, or creaking, which really reassured us about the quality and durability. We love that it encourages active play, balance, and confidence instead of just screen time. Our daughter climbs up, goes down the ramp, hangs, swings, and creates her own little obstacle courses. It keeps her entertained far longer than most toys we have purchased. It fits nicely in our playroom without feeling overwhelming, and it looks much nicer than typical plastic play equipment. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were straightforward and it was absolutely worth it once finished. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase. If you have a toddler or preschooler who loves to climb and move, this is definitely worth it. We would buy it again without hesitation.

We absolutely love Avenlur! With four kids ranging from toddler to tween, finding something that keeps everyone entertained (and safe!) isn’t easy—but this has been a total game changer. The quality is amazing, the setup was straightforward, and the design is sturdy enough to handle daily use from all four of my busy kids. I love that it encourages active play and imagination instead of more screen time. It’s been such a great investment for our family, and I can honestly say it gets used every single day. Highly recommend!

Purchased for 2 year old daughter’s birthday. She loves it and so do we! She loves that she can push herself on the swing and all the different climbing she can do. 5 stars all around.

Sweetgum Indoor Sensory Playset

We bought this to out in our basement play area for winter and rainy day activities. Our kids, 18 months and 4 years old, love it! I wish the swing had a little more room but otherwise it is perfect for young children.

We absolutely love the Avenlur Sweetgum Jumbo indoor jungle gym! It’s sturdy, beautifully designed, and keeps our kids active and engaged for hours. The natural wood look fits nicely in our home, and we appreciate how thoughtfully it’s built for safety and versatility. It’s been a fantastic way to encourage movement, creativity, and confidence—especially on days when getting outside isn’t easy. Highly recommend for families looking for a high-quality indoor play option.
